Educational internship
This student's educational experience constitutes an integral part of the study curriculum (acquisition of credits type "F", research related to the dissertation preparation). It consists of a training period in a company, entity or institution, including facilities within the University itself, to complement or supplement the university course.

Orientation and training internship
Represents an opportunity for temporary entry into the world of work for graduates (not more than 12 months) and students to facilitate professional choices through the direct knowledge of the world of work.

• Students who intend to do an internal internship should contact a faculty member in the Department of Physical and Chemical Sciences (university tutor) to agree on all activities related to the internship. At the end of the internship, the student should have the internal tutor fill out a copy of the End of Internship Form and submit it to the Student Secretariat.
• Students who wish to do an external internship with companies, organizations or institutions that have an agreement with the University of L'Aquila should contact the DSFC Didactic Secretariat.
• Graduates from the University of L'Aquila (for no more than 12 months) who intend to do a post-graduate internship or placement should contact the Orientation, Tutoring and Placement Office.

1. Consult the list of companies affiliated with the DSFC or apply through the Council for teaching activities (CAD) for a new agreement with a company of their interest.
2. Identify a reference lecturer (university tutor) with whom to agree on all activities related to the internship and a company tutor to be the reference for all internship activities.
3. Wait for the Didactic Secretariat to acquire all the data from the Company necessary for the conclusion of the agreement. The agreement will be drawn up in a single original that will be kept on file by the Promoting Partner (University). A copy of the document will be issued to the Host Partner (Company).
4. Fill out three copies of the Training Project (in Italian), signed and stamped in original by the Company mentors, submit them to the Didactic Secretariat who will arrange for signature by the Department Director.
5. At the end of the internship, the student's company mentor should fill out a copy of the Company End of Internship Form with a description of the activity performed and the in-house mentor a copy of the End of Internship Form. The two forms should be handed in to the Student Secretariat.

• Art. 27 and 92 of Presidential Decree 382/80 containing regulations on "Reorganization of university teaching, related training band as well as organizational and didactic experimentation."
